FITM-AYUSH Fellowships for Doctoral and Postdoctoral Research at RIS
The Forum on Indian Traditional Medicine (FITM), established at RIS as part of the initiative of Ministry of AYUSH and RIS to contribute towards pragmatic policy making in the area of Indian Traditional Medicines, invites applications from full-time PhD scholars (registered with recognised Indian Universities/ Institutes) and PhD degrees holders for Doctoral and Postdoctoral Research Fellowships respectively.
Selected candidates will undertake research that explores economic, sociological, politico-economic, trade, management, and technology related aspects of Indian Systems of Medicine with the aim of national and global promotion of these systems.
ELIGIBILITY: The Doctoral and Postdoctoral Research Fellowships are open to scholars with educational backgrounds in any of AYUSH disciplines. Additional qualification in any other specialisation especially IT is desirable. Outstanding candidates from other disciplines may be considered.
DURATION:
Two Years (Doctoral Fellowships)
One year (Postdoctoral Fellowship)
FELLOWSHIP AMOUNT:
Rs 5 lakh/- (Five Lakh) per year (Doctoral Fellowships)
Rs 7.5 lakh/-(Seven Lakh Fifty Thousand) per year (Postdoctoral Fellowship)
