Reference is invited to TRAI's vacancy circular of even No. dated 21st March, 2018 for filling up of the posts of Senior Research Officer in its headquarters, New Delhi on deputation on foreign service terms, initially for a period of two years. The details of eligibility criteria, qualifications and experience etc., are as under:-

I Pay Level: Pay Level-I I inthe Pay Matrix under 7th CPC

[Pre-revised PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100+ GP Rs. 6600] with allowances such as DA, HRA etc. as per Govt. Rules.

(equivalent revisedpayscale ofthepost ofSRO in CPSEs under 3rd PRC ofIDAscale isRs. 70, 000-2, 00, 000 (pre-revised Rs.29100-54500)

Eligibility Officers of the Central Government, Central Public Sector criteria: Undertakings and Statutory and Autonomous Bodies:-

(i) holding equivalent post on regular basis[equivalent IDApay

scale (revised) is Rs.70,000-2,00,000 under 3rd PRC (pre-revised Rs.29100-54500)] OR

(ii) Officers in Junior Time Scale with 4 years of regular service in that grade [equivalent IDA pay scale (revised) is 60,000-1,80,000) (pre-revised 24900-50500)0R 1 years of regular service in the grade of Section Officer OR any other equivalent or higher grade [equivalent IDA pay scale (revised) is 50,000-1,60,000) (20600-46500)]. The officer must possess the working knowledge ofcomputer.

Qualification: A Master/ Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/

. Economics/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Law/ Science/ Humanities from a recognized University/ institution or, Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and possessing requisite experience inthe relevant field.

The appointment will be made on deputation on foreign service terms

and will be governed by the instructions issued by the DoP&Trg. OM No.

6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 1th June, 2010, as amended from time to time.

The maximum age for appointment on deputation shall in no case exceed 56 years on the date ofclosing ofapplications in TRAI.

3. All the Ministries/Departments, Central Public Sector Undertakings and Statutory and Autonomous Bodies are requested to forward applications in the prescribed proforma (can be downloaded from TRJU's website www.trai.gov.in) along with attested copies of ACRs/APARs for the last five years and vigilance/disciplinary clearance of eligible candidates whose services could be placed at the disposal of the Authority immediately in the event of their selection. The application should be sent in an envelope superscribing the post applied for to the Technical Officer (A&P), Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, Mahanagar Door Sanchar Bhawan, J.L. Nehru Marg (Old lVIinto Road), next to Zakir Hussain College, New Delhi-110002.
