NEHRU INSTITUTE OF MOUNTAINEERING UTTARKASHI (UTTARAKHAND) ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF MOUNTAINEERING INSTRUCTOR

1. Applications are invited for one (01) vacancy of Mountaineering Instructor at Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand). Candidate must be physically and medically fit to apply for the post. Eligible Male candidates between the age 20 to 30 years may apply with in 15 days from the date of publishing of the advertisement. After 15 days, no application will be accepted/ entertained. Application form is available in our website www.nimindia.net. 2. Name of Post : Mountaineering Instructor 3. Salary : Rs 9300-34800 + grade pay Rs 4200/- per month as per rules of Govt of Uttarakhand. 4. Eligibility Criteria (a) Age : Should be between 20 years to 30 years of age. (b) Citizenship: The candidate must either be (a) Citizen of India or a subject of Bhutan or (c) a subject of Nepal or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 01 Jan 1962 with the intension of permanently settling in India. 5. Essential Qualification:

(a) Should have passed the Intermediate Examination from the Board of Intermediate Education, Uttarakhand / Uttar Pradesh or any other Examination recognized as equivalent thereto in India.

(b) Should have Certificate of Basic, Advance, Search & Rescue and Method of Instruction course with grade A from NIM, Uttarkashi / HMI Darjeeling / JIM, Batote Pahalgam / ABBM & AS Manali / NIMAS, Arunachal Pradesh.

(c) Should have summited at least one peak of more than 7000 meters.

6. Desirable qualification (a) Candidates should have good knowledge/ control over English language (written and spoken).

(b) Should have Basic Computer knowledge.

Copy of the same will be sent with the application.
