Advt No.35/2016 : SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR APPOINTMENT OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PWD-OH/VH/HH)-FOR THE POST OF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER C

National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (TIFR) a premier research centre under the aegis of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, invites online application from Persons with Disabilities (PWD) for the following post at NCBS, Bangalore.

Administrative Officer C - 1 (One) Post Reserved for Persons with Disabilities (OH/VH/HH)

Qualification & Experience:

Essential: i. Graduate with 60% marks.

ii. Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.

iii. 5 (five) years service in Grade Pay 4200/4600/4800 level or equivalent TME with Diploma in Management OR 6 years service in Grade Pay 4200/4600/4800 level or with equivalent TME (total monthly emoluments.

Desirable: i. Post Graduate / Masters degree in Management.

ii. Experience in dealing with administrative and establishment matters viz. Government of India rules & procedures and its applications in respect of establishment and service matters.

iii. Management of Contract for Services, Knowledge of Labour Laws.

Pay Band & Grade Pay: PB 3 Rs. 15600 39100/- Grade Pay: Rs. 5400/- (TME: Rs. 62444/-)

(Likely to be revised as per the recommendations of VII CPC)

Age limit: - Below 50 years (55 years for SC/ST and 53 years for OBC) (as on 1.1.2017)

To be eligible for concession/ benefits as a PWD the minimum disability has been prescribed as 40% . The candidates need to attach a copy of certificate from competent authority in the prescribed format stating the nature and extent of disability.

The appointment to the post shall be made with probation of one (1) year form the date of joining. Continuing appointment beyond the initial period of three years will be subject to the results of a comprehensive review and performance appraisal. After successful review, the appointment is continued till superannuation age, which is sixty.

The selected candidates shall be required to join immediately. The institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for the recruitment process to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. Mere fulfilling the essential and desirable qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be called for consideration for recruitment. The institute reserves the right not to fill above posts herein advertised in case suitable candidates are not found. Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidate. Higher starting salary could be considered for deserving candidates.

The posts are tenable at Bangalore but is liable to be transferred if the need arises to the Institutes headquarters at Mumbai or any other field Stations.
