Applications are invited for the positions of Project Assistant and/or Senior Project Assistant from candidates having B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering. Projects are sponsored by DST and UAY. Both the projects are related to Metal Forming and Plasticity.

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech./M.Tech. Mechanical Engineering only

Essential skills: Exposure in following areas is essential

Exposure to incremental sheet forming technology

Experience in using Siemens 840D/840DSL controller

Knowledge of master and slave tool concept

Very good understanding of Engineering Graphics

Concepts of operating pulse generator for conducting experiments

Software skills needed: Solid works, Catia, Matlab

Number of positions: Maximum Two

Remuneration: Rs. 14000-18000

Duration of appointment: 1 to 2 years (purely temporary)
