The successful candidate will be awarded a fixed-term one year contract which will include a 6month probation period. Roles and responsibilities and performance appraisal framework will be developed and agreed at the beginning of the contract period.

Job Description:

To be involved in implementation of RUSA along with other team members. The main responsibilities will include:

Liaising closely with the stakeholders in preparing the State Higher Education Plan

Monitoring & Evaluation of the implementation of projects taken under RUSA

Evaluation of the Project Proposals received under the RUSA Component of Research, Innovation & Quality Improvement

Implementation of the quality enhancement initiatives for the faculty

Essential Qualifications:

M. Sc. / Ph. D. in case of candidates with Science background with 7 years experience.

M. Tech / M. E. / Ph. D. in case of candidates with Engineering & Technology background with 7 years of experience.

Candidate should have cleared either National Eligibility Test of UGC/ State Eligibility for lecturer ship or have held Junior Research Fellowship/ Senior research Fellowship of UGC/CSIR.

Compensation (Consolidated): Rs. 50,000/-to Rs. 75,000/-per month depending on the merit of the candidate as decided by the Selection Committee.

The State Project Directorate is located at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
