Regarding: Engagement of Senior Consultant Legal (Full Time) in Academic Coordination Division

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) desires to engage, Senior Consultant (Legal) in Academic Coordination Division (ACD) purely on contractual basis, initially for a period of six months and extendable further as per requirement of the University. The services can be terminated without assigning any reason thereof:

Name of the Post : Senior Consultant (Legal) Full Time

Number of Post : One

Remuneration : Rs. 50,000 70,000/- per month consolidated

Age Limit : Not more than 68 years as on the closing date of Advertisement Notice

Eligibility Conditions :

Qualification (Essential)

(i) Bachelors Degree in Law or equivalent from a recognized University.

(ii) Must be a retired Government servant having experience in handling Court/Disciplinary cases in respect of service matters.

(iii) Should have retired in the Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600/- or above.

Job Requirements

Legal expertise in Disciplinary and all kinds of Service Matters/Court Cases.

Preferable having expertise in dealing with Court Cases/Service Matters.

Note : A retired officer against whom any Vigilance Case or any Departmental Proceedings or Criminal Prosecution is contemplated or pending at the time of his/her retirement will not be considered.
