Advertisement for the Post of JRF/SRF

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF) [On Contract] in research project entitled Development of ferrite-semiconductor composite hollow nanospheres based sensors for enhanced bio and gas sensing performances sanction order no. 03(1386)/16/EMR-II sponsored by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi. The duly completed application on the formats [MNNIT Allahabad application form and CSIR Form G] along with copies of supporting documents must reach to: Office of the Dean (Research & Consultancy), Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad-211004 on or before 13/07/2017. The envelope should be superscribed as Application for the post of JRF/SRF in the Project Development of ferrite-semiconductor composite hollow nanospheres based sensors for enhanced bio and gas sensing performances. A soft copy of the application should also be sent to the email address of the Principal Investigator, Dr. Naresh Kumar at nsisodia@mnnit.ac.in. The position is purely temporary and will be governed by the funding agency rules & service conditions of the office of the office of Dean (Research & Consultancy), MNNIT Allahabad.

Number of position : 01(one)

Qualifications : For JRF-Possessing M.Sc. in Physics with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE test. For SRF-Possessing M.Sc in Physics and at least 2 years of post-M.Sc. experience as evidence from published papers in standard refereed journals.

Fellowship : For JRF Rs. 12,000/-per month + HRA (as per rules) & For SRF-Rs. 14,000/-per

month + HRA (as per rules) .

Other Benefits : Candidates having CPI 6.5 or 60 % in M.Sc. may be eligible to register for Ph.D. program of the Institute. Facility of yearly leave, carryover leave, medical benefits etc. may be available as per the applicable rules for project staff.

Age Limit : Age Maximum 28 years for JRF and 32 years for SRF [Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Woman and Physically Handicapped Candidates]

Tenure of Appointment : Appointment will be made on contract basis for a period of one year initially, which may be extended depending on the performance evaluation on yearly basis till the end of the project.

Note:

1. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of information, other documents and photographs submitted.

7. No TA/DA will be paid for their appearing in the interview.
