VACANCY CIRCULAR

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), an autonomous organization under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India invites applications for filling up of the post of Sr. Financial Advisor in Level 14 of Pay Matrix (Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200) at ICMR Headquarters, New Delhi on deputation basis on foreign service terms.

Eligibility Condition: Central Government Officers of all organized Accounts Service, Group A or Central Secretariat Service:

(a)

holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR

(b)

with 3 years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level -13 of pay Matrix (Rs.1,23,100-2,15,900) in the parent cadre/department.

Desirable: Experience in Health Sector and/ or in Research Organizations and/or Finance/Accounts.

Age: Below 58 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Job requirement: (i) To be responsible for control of Finance/Budget of ICMR, maintenance of accounts and internal audit; & (ii) To advise the Director General, ICMR on all financial matters.

3. While forwarding the applications, the Cadre Controlling Authority should also send the Vigilance Clearance Certificate and copy of APARs of the last 5 years 2017

1. The application received after the last date or applications incomplete or those not received through proper channel will not be considered.
   
   
2. The shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for personal discussion/ interview for selection. The selected candidates will be appointed on deputation basis on Foreign Service term for a period of three years, which may be curtailed or extended further in the interest of administrative exigencies. The pay and other terms & conditions of deputation will be governed as per the instructions of the Department of Personnel & Training issued from time to time in this regard.
