RECRUITMENT

Applications on plain paper giving complete permanent and correspondence address including telephone no. and e-mail address (if available), details of educational qualifications (starting from class 10th onwards), proof of date of birth, and/or proof of experience (if any) along with attested copies of all mark sheets/ certificates and copy of caste certificate or handicapped certificate (as the case may be) are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in an I.C.M.R. funded research project entitled Identification of Outer membrane proteins in Mycobacterium leprae and subsequent selection and analysis of epitopes to target immunogenic candidate proteins is to be conducted. The details of position are as follows:

Essential Qualification:

Candidate must have MSc in any branch of Life Sciences and should have qualified ICMR JRF under funded Project category.

Desirable Qualification:

Experience in Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology techniques.

Upper age limit:

Not more than 28 years

Relaxation in educational qualifications/upper age limit is admissible for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per ICMR/GoI guidelines.

Consolidated Emoluments:

Rs 25000/- +HRA @10%

Tenure of the Project:

03 Years

Process of Selection:

The selection shall be made on the basis of merit. The eligible candidates are required to appear for interview before the duly constituted Selection Committee for the purpose. The scheduled date and time of interview shall be intimated to the eligible candidates through phone/ e-mail. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview. Incomplete applications shall be rejected without notice.

The Terms & Conditions for the posts are as follows:

The post is to be filled up only on purely temporary basis for one year and will be renewed annually after evaluation of work.

The duration of the project is for three years.

The appointment can be terminated with one month notice or one month salary from either side without assigning any reason.

Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbent selected will have no claim for regular appointments under Central University of Himachal Pradesh or continuation of his/her services in any other project.

Benefits of provident fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. are not applicable.

No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the Interview or joining of post and candidate should make his/her own arrangement for stay for interview and joining of post.

Qualification and experience should be from a recognized university.

Experience will be counted only after completion of essential qualification.

Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee for the interview call and selection.

Eligibility, experience and age will be considered as on the last date of application.

Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.

The selected candidate will work in the project mentioned above and on any other work that may be assigned by the Principal Investigator from time to time.
