ADVERTISEMENT FOR RESEARCH ASSISTANT IN ICSSR SPONSORED

RESEARCH PROJECT

Applications are invited from meritorious and interested students/scholars for the position of Research Assistant (One Number) at the Department of Commerce, School of Commerce and Business Management, Central University of Tamil Nadu for an ICSSR sponsored minor research project.

Title of the Project : Financial Literacy among the Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana The Case and Rural and Urban Areas in Madurai District of Tamilnadu.

Name and Number of the Post : Research Assistant (1 No.)

Research Fellowship : Rs.13000/-Per Month (Consolidated)

Essential Qualification :

1. PG in Business Studies (Economics/Commerce/Management) with minimum of 55% marks.
   
   
2. M.Phil/Ph.D is desirable.
   
   
3. UGC JRF/NET/SLET will be preferred.
   
   

Project Duration : One Year (the appointment shall be purely on temporary basis as stipulated by the existing norms of the ICSSR and CUTN, Thiruvarur. The appointment shall be coterminous with the duration of project).

Age Limit : Less than or equal to 30 years.

Venue : Department of Commerce, Guest House Complex, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur, Tamilnadu. The candidates should bring the following documents at the time of interview:

1. Filled in application in the format attached (Click here to download the Application Proforma), covering letter along with valid photographic identity card and one passport size photograph.
   
   
2. Original and self-attested photocopies of all documents, certificates, degrees and mark sheets (10^th standard onwards).
   
   
3. Copies of certificates/testimonials/documents which the candidate may wish to bring to the knowledge of the selection committee.

1. Candidates should appear for interview along with their original certificates and other relevant documents.
