Walk in interviews for Research Assistant position available in a project funded by DST Climate Change SPLICE MDRP program at IISER Mohali
IISER-Mohali (Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences) desires to engage a RESEARCH ASSISTANT under the DST sponsored research project at IISER-Mohali.

Name of Position: Research Assistant Grade III (as per DST norms)
Essential Qualification: PhD in Botany / Ecology / Plant Systematics/Chemistry. Prior experience in managing teams with sound knowledge of isoprene oxidation in atmosphere and experience in operating gas chromatography or mass spectrometry instruments are necessary.
The project will involve field work in the Himalayas so candidates should be willing to undertake field work. The work will involve travel to remote locations including forests. The work is physically demanding and candidate must be physically fit. Conditions in the field can be harsh and facilities available at field station may be limited at times. Thus, it is critical that the candidate is highly motivated and passionate about field-based research.
Emoluments:. Rs 40000 per month plus 10% HRA As per DST Rules
Duration: Initially for 1 year
