The Inspector General (Admin), NIA Hqrs, New Delhi has requested this Dte. to forward nomination of eligible and willing candidates to fill up vacancies in the rank of SI/GD in National Investigation Agency on deputation basis. Hence, eligible ASI/GD and SI/GD may submit their willingness for deputation to NIA as per details given through their Unit Commandant/HOO;-

01 Sub Insp 05 The eligibility criteria for induction of SI in NIA as analogous post or one rank up is as under:(1) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (2) Assistant Sub-Inspector in the scale of pay of Rs-520020200 plus GP of Rs-2800/-(now Level-5) with 6 years of service, in the grade in the State of Central Police organizations; and (3) Education Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university; and (4) Experience of at least 02 years in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or Training in counter terrorism.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:

NOTE;-Eligibility condition mentioned above is suggestive. Unit Commandant/HOO will scrutinize service particulars (i.e 10 years mandatory service, APAR grading not below Good during last five years, no major punishment during entire service, 2 years MFS completed in present rank, cooling off period) and other conditions as mentioned in Standing Order 05/2015 & Instruction on deputation at their end.
