U/C (.0 Deputation to NIA for the post of Superintendent of Police (.) NIA Hqr has invited nomination of willing and eligible officers for filling up 02 posts of Superintendent of Police on deputation basis (.) Details of the post and vacancies and eligibility conditions are as under :

| 6) | DA, HRA, TPT & other allowance | As admissible under the Central Government orders from time to time. |
| 7) | Special Incentive Allowance | 20% of basic pay. |
| 8) | Eligibility Criteria | (a) Officers of the Indian Police Service empanelled for holding Superintendent of Police posts at the Centre or (b) Officers of the Central Government or the State Government or the Union Territories:(i)Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department or (ii)Five years service in the grade on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-3, Scale of Pay Rs. 15,60039,100/with Grade Pay of Rs.6600/or equivalent in the parent cadre/department and (iii) 10 years experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work including counter-terrorism operation or imparting training in counter terrorism. (iv) Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. (v) Period of deputation will be four years. (vi)The maximum age limit shall be 56 years on closing date of receipt of applications. |

If nominations are not recd. by target date, nil report will be presumed (.) It may be ensured that nominated officers meet all the requirements of the post applied for (.) Para (. ) Preference may be given to the officers who have served in hard area i.e.
LWE/J&K and NE Region at least 03 years (.) It may also be ensured that nominated officers must be free from vigilance angle and fulfills the eligibility conditions as laid down in deputation policy framed by MHA dated 22/11/2016 /////-
