Applications are invited for the post of Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IISER Bhopal. Interested candidates with the following research areas may send their complete application form to the Head of the Department.

Environmental Engineering (advanced oxidation processes, desulfurization, water treatment)

Multi-phase flow, non-Newtonian fluid dynamics

Number of posts: 03 (Three)

Minimum qualifications:

Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering/ Biochemical Engineering/ Environmental Engineering or any allied disciplines of Chemical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with a consistently good academic record.

Candidates who have submitted PhD thesis are also eligible to apply. However, they have to produce the provisional/degree certificate within 3 months from the date of their joining to the institute (if selected).

Candidates must have publications in reputed journals in the related areas

Age limit: Preferably not more than 32 years of age at the time of application

Minimum tenure: Initially for 01 year and extendable by 01 more year based on the performance

Fellowship: Rs. 40,000 per month + 20% HRA (degree awarded)

Rs. 35,000 per month + 20% HRA (thesis submitted)

Candidates are also requested to send a brief research proposal (not more than 4 pages) along with application. Incomplete application will not be considered, and no correspondence will be entertained with regard to the application status. Shortlisted candidates will be informed to appear for an interview, and selected candidates will be notified by e-mail only.

Medical Facilities: OPD medical consultation will be provided to the Post-doctoral Fellows as per the Institute norms.

Note:

Applications will be considered until the positions are filled

No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview

The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill the posts advertised

Campus facilities for Post-doctoral Fellows will be same as those of UG and PG students
