In accordance with the permission contained in the letter vide No. 25gE-41212006/74-2 Dated: 10.01.2018, of Government of Chhattisgarh, Department of Agricultural & Biotechnology, Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, Naya Raipur, online applications are invited for appointment of baclJog vacancies of Assistant Professor/Scientist and Technical Assistant.

Qualifr cation: Essential

1. Master's Degree in relevant subject of Agriculture/Agricultural Engineering/ Agri-Business Managemenyveterinary faculty with at least 55Vo matks (or its equivalent grade 6.50 in 10.00 scales) with good academic record.
   
   
2. For the candidates having Master's degree, NET (National Eligibility Test) shall remain compulsory alongwith one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refened journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted by ICA&/UGC/CSIR.
   
   
3. Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. de$ee provided, it has
   
   

been done wilh course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2009 and the candidate has atleast two firll-length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4 on the last date of submission of application. Candidates \vith Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify for NET exemption.

The candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to July 11,2009 shall be exemptedfrom NET, subject to the conditions that :

a) Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only;* b) Evaluation o[ the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners;

c) Open Ph.D. viva-voce of the candidate had been conducted; d) Candidate has published two research papers ftom his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one must be in refereed Joumal;

e) Candidate has made at least two presentations in conference/seminars, based on his/her Ph.D. work.

Desirable _{Qualilication} for S.N. 18 (Agri-business Management)

1. Teaching, Research, Industrial and/or professional experience in reputed organization.
   
   
2. Papers presented in conferences/seminars and or published in refened journals.
   
   
3. Ph.D. in Agri-Business Management/Business Management from recognized University/Institute.
   
   

Technical Assistant Qualifi cation: Essential Master's Degree in relevant subject with atleast 55Eo marks (or its equivalent gade 2.7514.N OCGA or 6.50 in 10.00 scale) from any recognized University with good academic record.

Good academic record:-

Good academic record for all the post of Assistant Professor/Scientist and Technical Assistant means a candidate applying for respective post shall have (i) Second Class Master,s Degree (55% and above). (ii) Second class Bachelor's degee (55Vo and above). (iii) No third Division in entire career from

Higher Secondary.and onwards.

Age Limit:-The applicant's age shall not be more than 35 years for lhe post of Assistant Professor/Scientist and Technical Assistant. Upper age limit shall be determined as on the last date of submission _{of online}

application. Relaxation in upper age limit for ST, SC, OBC and women candidates (bonafide _{resident of Chhattisgarh only) will be provided as per C.G. Golt. Rules. Note!}

There will be no age bar for the employees/officers of the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur working in regular services for the post _{of Assistant Professor/Scientist.}

The staff working at different levels of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya will get a maximum of 5 years' relaxation in upper age applying for the post of Technical Assistant.(iir) The PermanenVtemporary/contractual employees of government of Chhattisgarh _{or any undertaking of government of Chhattisgarh will be entitled for age relaxation as per govemment rules.}

(ir) As per the order of Govt. of Chhattisgarh, Department of General Administration, Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, Naya Raipur vide No. F 3-2/2Ol5lL-3 Dated : 23.01.2077 the upper _age limit for the bonafide resident of Chhattisgarh will be 40 years for all categoties. However the

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. Reservation for ST/SC/OBC candidates shall be available as per the Chhattisgarh l-ok Seva (Anusuchit Jatiyon, Anusuchit Jan Jatiyon Aur Anya Pichhade Vargon ke Liye Arakshan) Sanshodhan Niyam 2011, 12. The applicant urder Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Class category should be a bonafide resident of Chhattisgarh and should be a member of Schedule caste/Schedule tribe/Other backward Class which have been included in the list of respectiye category as notified from time-to-time for ChhattisBarh State.
   
   
2. Candidate fiom Other Backward Class category should upload as well as produce at the time of intewiew in cufent years "non creamy layer certificate" issued by competent authority in the prescdbed proforma along with the application form, failing which, the candidates will not be entitled to get the benefit of reserved category
   
   
3. 30% reservation will be available for female applicant (bonafide resident of Chhattisgarh only) in each category as per C.G. Govt. Rules.
   
   
4. 6% reservation will be available for Person with Disabilities applicants as per rules.
   
   
5. The Vishwavidyalaya reserves the right to increase/decrease or not to fill up any of the post, to fix criteria for callilg the candidates for interview atrd/or not to call any of the applicants on ac{ount of sufficient reasons for interview. No appeal will be accepted/ entertained ir this matter and Vishwavidyalaya's decision will be final.
   
   
6. The selected candidates shall be governed by the Vishwavidyalaya rules and service conditions as amended from time to time.
   
   
7. Applicants must have achieved the requisite qualifications and experience on or before last date of application.
   
   
8. Applications not uploaded with copies of certificates, degrees, mark sheets/transcripts in support of academic qualifications and experience shall be rejected.
   
   
9. Applicants for the post of Technical Assistant should be bonafide resident of Chhattisgarh. Upload copy of Certificate for proof.

11. Persons already in service must apply through proper channel. t2. The applicants shall be required to present themselyes before the selection committee, if called for interyiew, at their own expenses. ST/SC applicarts will be allowed traveling allowance as per Vishwavidyalaya rules.

Applicants from reserved category (SZSCIOBC) who applied for respective category are required to upload Caste Certificate issued by competent authority failing which their application shall be considered under unreserved category. Applicalts appointed on reserved posts will have to submit an undertaking in prescribed format rcgarding their caste certificate, in case their certificate found illegal or fake, their services will be terminated and they will be punished as per law.

1. The candidate appointed to the post shall be governed by the new contributory pension scheme introduced _by State Governmert of Chhattisgarh and adopted by the Vishwavidyalaya.
   
   
2. Appointment to the post shall be temporary and the selected candidate will be kept on probation _{for two} yeals _and their service may be terminated if probation is not cleared.
   
   
3. Selected candidates will be posted in different Colleges and Research Station of Vishwavidyalaya, located in different districts of Chhattisgarh State.
   
   
4. Candidates having more than one wife and female candidate who had maried with such a married rnan already having a wife alive, shall not be eligible for the Vishwavidyalaya Service.
   
   
5. If any information given by the candidate in above condition No. 18 is found inconect, his appointment/selection shall be terminated \r,ithout giying any notice.
   
   

OTHERTERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. Only online application shall be considered. Even online filled application is found incomplete in any respect, will not be mnsidered

2. A candidate, furnishing fake or incorrect or false ilfomatior/documents or suppresses matedal information, will be disqualified, and/or if appointed, will be liable to dismissal from service without prior notice.

4. The required fee is to be deposited on line either through Net Banking _/ Debit card _/ Credit card options as per instructions mentioned thereon.
