Young Professional (I)

Essential: Master degree in Microbiology / Biotechnology or equivalent with minimum of 60% marks.

Desirable: Working knowledge of PCR, DNA isolation, gene cloning, gel electrophoresis.

2. Prospecting the potential of cyanobacteria based formulations as plant growth promoting and biocontrol agents in cereal-legume cropping system and selected vegetables

Young Professional (I)

Rs. 15,000/- Consolidated

Essential: M.Sc. Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology / Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks, having expertise in Plant-Microbe interaction studies in lab and field and bioinformatic analyses.

Desirable: Experience in working with cyanobacteria; Good knowledge of computers and MS Office. Experience of field work and soil/plant/ microbiological analyses

3. Evaluation of Jute and Mesta biomass for bioethanol production potential

Rs 25,000/-+30% HRA

Essential: M.Sc. Microbiology/Applied Microbiology/ Industrial Microbiology with minimum 60% marks. Candidate should meet requirement of NET/GATE or any other qualification as per ICAR OM No. Agril Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD dated 9th October 2015.

Desirable: Experience in fermentation and enzymes/Biofuel production

4. Synthetic biology and metabolic engineering opportunities for enhanced production of biofuels through microbes

Rs. 25,000 + 30% HRA

Essential: M.Sc. Microbiology / Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks. Candidate should meet requirement of NET/GATE or any other qualification as per ICAR OM No. Agril Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD dated 9th October 2015.

Desirable: Experience in molecular biology, biotechnology & bioinformatics, fermentation technology. Candidates with experience in biofuels production as evident from publications will be preferred.

Young

Professional I

(1 position)

Rs. 15,000/- Consolidated

Essential: M Sc Biotechnology/Microbiology with minimum 60% marks

Desirable: M.Sc. Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology / Biotechnology experience in molecular biology, bioinformatics, fermentation. Candidates with one-year hands on experience in molecular biology of biofuel production will be

given preference.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. AGE: The upper age limit is 35 years; relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman as per the Govt. of India instructions.
2. No objection and experience certificate from the employer in case he/she is in employment.
3. The interview will be held on 20th March 2018 (reporting time 9.30-11.30 am) at Division of Microbiology, IARI, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012.
4. Initially the period of engagement of SRF will be upto 31.03.2019, likely to be extended.
5. Position is purely time bound, non-regular and on co-terminus basis with the project. Appointment can be terminated on one months notice
6. The selected candidate shall have no legal right to claim regularization by absorption or otherwise against any regular posts or any further contractual engagement on termination of the Project.
7. Candidates should appear for interview with a copy of bio-data (strictly in the format placed below), photographs and original testimonials.
8. Candidates reaching after the specified timing will not be entertained.
9. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature. The Directors decision will be final and binding in all respects.
10. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
