Contract ual A ppointment of Staff in the

Centre for Early C hildh ood Deve lo pment and Research

Applications on the prescribed form arc invited for appointment on the following teaching and non-teaching positions pur e ly on contractual basis ini ti ally for a period of one year (further extendable based on need and performance), so as to reach the Office of the Hon y. Director, Centre for Early Childhood Development and Research, Jamia Mill ia Js lamia , Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar Marg, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi- 110 025 latest by 22-05-2017 during working days between I 0:00 AM to 01:00 PM (Friday up to I 2:00 Noon):-

1. Two Senior Fellows

2. Six Fellows

3. Two Research Officers

4. Two Research Associates

5. Two Programme Officers

6. One Research Assistant cum Counse lor

7. One Assistant, Finance & Accounts

8. One Assistant, Administration

9. One Semi Professional Assistant

Note:-

! . Selection against above positions shall not confer on the appointee any right of permanent appointm e nt / regularization.

1. Relevant grade which is regarded as equivalent of 55% where the grading system is followed by a recognized University shall also be considered eligible.

2. The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle her / him for being called for interview. The university rese rves the right to restric t the candidates to be called for interview to a reaso nable number on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed or by any other condition that it may deem fit. The University may constitute a Screening Committee to scrutinize the applic ations and short-lis tin g the candidates. Lis t of the shortli sted candidates will be displayed on the University's website.

3. Candidat es must enclose the attested copies of degrees, d iplomas and marksheets , etc giving reference of experie nce / pub li s hed work with the application form.

4. Inco mplete application or application on plain paper will not be entertaine d and is liable to be rejected.

5. Can didat es already in service shou ld apply thro ugh proper channel.

6. Knowledge of Urdu and Hindi is a desira ble qualification for all teac hin g and non-teaching posts.

7. The univer sit y reserves the right to hold / not hold Selection Committee for any or all of the post(s).

8. Canvassing, in any form or on behalf of the candidate will be a disqualificat ion .

10 . T he numb er of vacancies indicated in the Local Advertisement is te ntative. The University reserves the rig ht to increase / decr ease the number of posts, at the time of select ion and make appointments accordingly, if more vacancies do exist in between the Local Advertise ment and Selection Committee meetin gs.

2. Application received late or without necessary supporting documents, Degree I Certificates / Marks Sheets and Experience Certificate not attested by the Head of the Department / Institut ions / Gazetted Officer I Self-attestation shall be rejected summarily.

3. Qualifications, experience, etc. will be reckoned as on the last date for receipt of filled in application i.e. 22-05-2017. Clear photocopies of all certificates must be attached with the application form. Any request for including any documents / information to the application form after the last date of submission of application shall not be entertained and no correspondence will be made in this regard.

The application form, advertisement and qualification are available on Jamia's website http://jmi.ac.in the application form may be downloaded from http://jmi.ac.in/bulletinboard/advertisement/latest/2 and submitted along with the application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/-.for SC I ST Candidates and ji-ee for Disabled Person on producing the photocopy of relevant certificate) through Bank Draft / IPO drawn in favor of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi-110025. The application form completed in all respect should reach on or before 22-05-2017 in the Office of the Hony.
