Eligible candidates are invited to attend Walk-in-Interview for contractual positions of Research Associates (RAs) and Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) on 29th June, 2018 at 10.00 AM for projects National Knowledge Management Centre for Agricultural Education and Research under National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP) and "DST-ICRISAT Centre of Excellence on Climate Change Research for Plant Protection: Pest and Disease Management for Climate Change Adaption" funded by Department of Science and technology (DST) at Agricultural Knowledge Management Unit, L.B. S. building, ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI), New Delhi -110012.

The appointment will be on purely temporary basis up to 31.03.2019 or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier and the incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under ICAR.

Work experience in data mining techniques special emphasis on text mining and candidate should have experience in open sources software such as DSpace / KOHA etc. in digitization and content management of library system.	Rs. 25000/- month + HRA as admissible
DST-ICRISAT centre of excellence on climate change Research for plant protection: Pest and disease management for climate change adaption	Research Associate (One)	Ph.D. in Computer Science / Information Technology /Information Security / Information Science or equivalent OR Master degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Security / Information Sciences / MCA or equivalent with atleast two years research experience. Master degree holders should have completed 4 or 5 years Bachelor degree in relevant subject. Those with 3 years of Bachelors degree should have NET* qualification or equivalent certificate.	Work experience in development of web- based system using CMS, Bootstrap, Zoomla & Drupal. Candidate should have knowledge of statistical modeling and data mining techniques, etc.	Rs. 40000/-+ HRA as admissible for Ph.D. Degree holders; Rs. 38000/-+ HRA as admissible for Post Graduate Degree holders

* Examination conducted by various Central Government Departments/Agencies like CSIR-UGC, ICMR, ICAR,DAE,DST,DBT,GATE etc. are considered as National Eligibility Test (NET).
