WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF FIELD ASSISTANT

Applications are invited to attend a walk-in-interview for the post of Lab/Field Technician (one) in ICAR-IARI Regional Station, Amartara Cottage, Shimla 171004 under the DBT funded project entitled Characterization, race profiling and genetic analysis of wheat powdery mildew pathogen (Blumeria graminis f.sp. tritici (DC) Speer (Syn. Erysiphe graminis DC f.sp. tritici) in India purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with project. Walk in interview will be conducted on 19/05/2018 at 11.00 am. A detail of the position is given below:

Terms and condition for the post of Field Assistant

i. Age limits: Maximum age is 30 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST and women and three years for OBC). Minimum age should be 18 years as on date of interview.

ii. The post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis till the termination of the project.

iii. The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this institute, as the post is co- terminus with the project and committees decision will be final.

iv. The interview of the eligible candidate will be held on May 19, 2018 at 11.00 AM in the office of the Head, ICAR-IARI Regional Station Amartara Cottage Shimla 171004.

v. The candidate will have to compulsorily bring the duly filled in application form (as per the format annexed) all the original certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, One set the self attested photo copies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted on to the application form. Proof of experience and publications also need to be submitted.

vi. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

vii. Only the candidates meeting essential qualification would be interviewed.

viii. Concealing of facts of canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of such candidates.

ix. The selected candidate will be stationed at ICAR-IARI Regional Station, Amartara Cottage, Shimla 171004, but have to attend field trials conducted at various locations in Himachal Pradesh and other places as and when required.

x. Candidate should be willing to complete the allotted work in time. Work may be allotted based on the project requirements rather than the expertise of the candidate.

xi. All candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview.

xii. Candidate working as where must bring NOC from their present Employer.

xiii. Reporting time for interview: 11 AM at ICAR-IARI Regional Station Amartara Cottage Shimla 171004.

xiv. Verification of documents will not be entertained after 12:00 AM.
