The Union Ter rritory of Puducherry Child Protection n Society (UTPCPS) has proposed to fill up the vacancie es of members in the Juvenile Justice e Boards (JJB) in Mahe &Yanam region and Members for Child Welfare Committee in Yanam Region of the U.T. of Puducherry,as per Secttion 4 and 27 of Juvenile Justice (Caree and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Rules 4 &&16 of Puducherry Juvenile Justice (CCare and Protection of Children) Rules, 2017.

Applications arre invited from eligible candidates fo or selection as Members for Child Welfare Committee an nd members for Juvenile Justice Boa ard against the vacancies notified below for exercising powers and discharging the functio ons of the Committee / Board in relation to Children in n Need of Care and Protection and ch hildren in conflict with law under Juvenile Justice (Care e and Protection of Children) Act, 20015 and the Puducherry Juvenile Justice (Care and Prote ection of Children) Rules, 2017,

ii. The Members of the Board / Committee shall be paid such allowance as prescribed by Government. No other pay or allowances are admissible

iii. The person who is appointed as a Member of the Board / Committee shall be appointed for a Maximum period of three years from the date of appointment.
