Interested candidates are requested to appear for a walk in-interview on 11th June 2018 at 11.00 AM, for a temporary post of JRF in the department of Mining Engineering, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, Howrah for the DST sponsored research project titled Identification of above ground vegetation biomass in the Kalimpong subdivision of West Bengal.

Essential Qualification:

  1. M.Tech in Geoinformatics. Should have completed M.Tech with valid GATE score.

  2. M.Sc in Geoinformatics with valid NET/GATE score.

Desirable: Candidate should have done their dissertation work at masters level using GIS and Remote Sensing

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/-+ 30% HRA.

Duration: May be extended up to three years on satisfactory performance.

Competent Candidate should bring two hard copies bio-data to submit and original mark sheet and certificate.

Venue of the interview: Office of the Dean (Research and Development), 6th Floor, New Technology Building, IIEST, Shibpur.
