NOTIFICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF FOR NON-TEACHING CONTRACTUAL POSITIONS

National Institute of Technology Nagaland (NIT Nagaland) is one among ten newly established NITs sanctioned during the XI five year plan in 2009. The Institute is centrally funded by MHRD, Government of India. The Institute started functioning at its permanent campus located at Chumukedima, Dimapur, Nagaland -797103. The Institute is looking for dedicated and committed candidates for various non-teaching contractual posts under TEQIP-III project. The project duration is initially for a period of 3 years till March 2020.

Interested and eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in-interview on 3rd February 2018 at NIT Nagaland, subject to shortlisted status for appearing the skill test/interview. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully. The details are as follows:

Assistant a) Essential Qualification: i) Masters' degree in any discipline with minimum second class or its equivalent from a recognized university/Institute. ii) Proficiency in Computer operations/ applications viz. Word processing, Spread Sheet. Minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English. iii) Proficiency in noting and drafting. b) Essential Experience: Candidate should have minimum experience of 03 years in the field of administration and accounts in any state / central government/ PSU/Govt. Autonomous organization. 01 25000/pm
2. Junior Assistant Post: 01 a) Essential Qualification i) Bachelor's Degree with minimum second class or equivalent grade from a recognized University. ii) Proficiency in Computer operations/ applications viz. Word processing, Spread Sheet. Minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. 01 15000/pm
b) Essential Experience: Candidate should have minimum experience of 1 year in the field of administration/accounts in any state /central government/ PSU/Govt. Autonomous organization.

INSTRUCTIONS

    1. The candidate has to download the application form from the institute website (www.nitnagaland.ac.in ). The filled in hard copy of application form have to be sent to
    2. The Director, TEQIP-III PROJECT, NIT Nagaland, Chumukedima, Dimapur797103 by 31st January 2018 upto 5.00 pm. The application form received after the due date will be rejected. The institute will not be responsible for any delay.
  2. The date and time of skill test/interview for the shortlisted candidates will be uploaded in the institute website on 1st February 2018.

3rd

  1. The skill test/interview for the eligible/shortlisted candidate will be held on February 2018 at 9.30 am at NIT Nagaland Campus, Chumukedima, Dimapur-797103.
  2. The Contract is purely temporary for a period of one year which will be extendable to another one year basis on the performance and recommendation of the department.

  3. Candidates have to produce all the original certificates at the time of interview for verification.

  4. The candidate has to check the website for the status of the application. No separate intimation will be individual candidate.

  5. Decision of the duly constituted selection committee will be final.
