Applications are invited from eligible candidates for a walk-in-interview on 21^st August, 2018 (Tuesday) at 10.00 a.m. for recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB funded project on Development of diagnostic for detection of Sarocladium oryzae causing sheath rot in paddy using molecular markers and its eco-friendly management

purely on contractual basis at Division of Seed Science and Technology, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-12

Junior Research Fellow (one position)	Rs. 25,000 + 30% HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs 28,000/. +30% HRA for 3rd year	i) Essential: Post graduate degree in professional courses (4+2) Specialized in Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry with minimum 60% marks OR Post graduate in basic sciences (3+2) i.e Biotechnology / Molecular Biology /Biochemistry/ Plant Science / Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks and NET qualified ii) Desirable: Work experience in Molecular biological techniques and common fungal pathological techniques.

Terms & Conditions

1. Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for men and 40 years for women (relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt of India rules)
   
   
2. The post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of one year, which may be extended periodically subject to performance till the termination of the project
   
   
3. The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.

   2. 10.00 AM in Room No. 1, (Head) Division of Seed Science and Technology, ICAR-IARI, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110 012.
4. Reporting time for interview: 9.00-10.30 AM at Division of Seed Science and Technology, ICAR-IARI.
   
   
5. The candidates need to bring the filled in application form (as per the format annexed), original certificates from matriculation onwards (post-graduate degree certificate either original or provisional) , NET/equivalent certificate, and self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted onto the application form.
   
   
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
   
   
7. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
   
   
8. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
   
   
9. The candidates are required to submit the application at the time of interview as per the format annexed along with the declaration.
   
   
   1. The candidate intending to visit for interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing so as to reach by 14^th August 2018. If on the date of
      
      
   2. interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
10. All the other candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview.
    
    
11. The candidates have to strictly submit the from annexed (typed/ filled) duly signed on the date of the interview.
