A walk-in-interview will be conducted to form a panel of doctors for their engagement as Contract Nledical Practitioners (CMP) on full time contract basis in Khurda Road Division, East Coast Railway liom open market, retired Railway Doctors and retired Govemment Medical Doctors of State Government and Central Covernment are also eligible to apply for a period ofone year which can be renewed as a fresh contract on year to year basis on willingness of concerned CMP, not extendable beyond l2 years or till the post filled up by regular IRMS Doctors or till the scheme is available whichever is earlier. The details are given below:-

TO'rAL NO OF VACANCIES.-03 (01 each at Brahmapur Health Unit. Talcher Health Unit and Divisional Railway Hospital, Khurda Road in Khurda Road Division) N.I] : I. THE VACANCIES MAY INCREASE OR DECREASE AS PER ADMINISTRATIVE NECESSITY.

  1. The places of vacancies are liable to change rvithin the jurisdiction of Khurda Road Diyision East Coasr Railway depending upon joining of regular IRMS Doctors OR Administrative need. The selected CMPs may be engaged anywhere in ECotuKUR.

  2. RETIRED RAILWAY DOCTORS. RETIRED GOVERNMENT MEDICAL DOCTORS OF STATE GOVERNMENT AND CENTRAL COVERNMENT WHO ARE PHYSICALLY FIT UP TO 65 YEARS OF AGE ARE ALSO ELICIBLE.

EDUCATIONAL OUALI FICATION/ELIGIBI LITY :

candidate should be minirnum MBBS pass degree recognized by the Indian Medical Council and with regislration in Indian Medical Council or in possession ofvalid registration cenificate ofany ofthe State Medical Councils of India affer completion of one year compulsory, Rotatory lntemship. No other cenificates will be accepted.

AGE :Not exceeding 50 years of age as on 0l .06.2018. However, age relaxation is admissible for 5 years for SC/ST category candidates and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

(i) For retired Railway Doctor, retired Govemment Medical Doclors of Slate Government and Central Government: Age up to 65 years as on 01.06.2018. REMUNERATION;

i) Monthly remuneration is { 75,000i(including HRA & Transport Allowance) for Full Time Ceneral Duty Medical Officer-CMP

ii) For retired Railway Doctors, retired Govemment Medical Doctors of State Government and Central Covemment, the monthly remuneration as decided by Railway Board Subject to the condition that the pension plus contractual remuneration of the Retired Doctors should not exceed than the last pay drawn at the time of retirement. No Deamess and any other allowances rvhich are admissible to regular Railway Servants shall be admissible.

iii) Normally Sundays and National Holidays u.ill be offand in addition, authorized absence without detriment to the terms shall be allowed at the rate oF t\i,o days per month to be availed any time during the contract to lhe extent earned by the CMP till such time subject to fulfillment of condilions. Daily rate of proportionate reduction from the remuneration in the event ofexcess absence will be applicable.

iv) ln case Railway accommodation is provided to the CMP, an amount equivalent to HRA and license fees ofthe accommodation so provided shall be deducted tiom the monthly fees admissible VENUE , DATE AND TIME OF "WALK.IN INTERVIEW": Eligible and willing candidates should repon at the yenue given below along with the original certificates and self attested photocopies of certificates showing date of birth, educational qualification, community and two passpon size photographs. OTHER TqRMS AND.CONDITIONS Selected candidates will be subjected to medical examination and only medically fit candidate will be given the award of contracVengagement as CMP. At the time of entering in lo contract, the CMP shall produce certificate ofhis/her character and antecedents from two Gazetted Officers ofthe Central/State Govt.

ii) The full time Contract Medical Practitioner who enters contract with Railways rvill not have any claim or right for his/her continuity or automatic extension ofthe term ofcontract.

iii) During the validity of the contract, the CMP will be at liberty to terminate the contract for berrermcnt of his/her career or any other ground by giving l5 days prior notice to the Railways. The contract can also be terminated by the Railways at any time during the contract by giving l5 days notice without assigning any reasons whatsoever. The contract shall also be terminated by.the Railways administration ifthe CMP is found to be mentally or physically incapacitated

iv) It will not confer any right for automatic regularization or absorption in railways.

v) The CMP may avail of free medical treatment for self only except operations categorized as 'special' in para 622(8) of IRMM 2000 and treatment normally available at super specialty centre ilom his/her respective zonal railway hospitals during the cu.rency ofcontract.

vi) The detailed instructions with regard to the duties while in contract in Railways shall be given to CMP concemed in the event ofselection along with the offer ofengagement.

vii) Appearance in the interview will not vest any right upon the candidate to be engaged as CMP & no reasons will be cited or communication shall be made with the candidate in the event ofcandidate not getting selected.

Viii The administration ofthe ECoR/Khurda Road reserves absolute rights to cancel this notification without assigning any reason(s). ix) One set I'i class complimentary Railway pass for selfand family during each contractual year shall be issued after 03 months continuous engagement. x) No Railway privilege passes/PTOs shall be admissible to Retired Railway Doctors engaged as CMP in his,/her capacity of CMP.
