Applications are invited for temporary post of "Junior Research Fellow" for the "DSTX project on (Project# OEC/15-16/129/DSTX/NILA) on Experiments on analysis of fixed offshore wind turbines under parked condition in the Department of Ocean Engineering.

Others things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates.

Duration: Initially for a period of Six months.

Masters level preferred. Any other relevant discipline with 65% or 7.0 CGPA and above.	Rs.25,000/-p.m +HRA as per the institute norms

Desirable experience: Exposure to Experimental or Numerical Modelling / Computer Programming or both is preferred. Additional Working Experience in Relevant Discipline of Ocean / Coastal Engineering will be preferred. Knowledge of Hydrodynamics will also be considered.

Note: Candidate will be eligible for House Rent Allowances as per the Institute Norms, subject to eligibility.

The Co-ordinator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications that are higher than the minimum prescribed in the announcement. No candidate may also be recruited if suitable candidates are not found by the coordinator.
