Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post ofProject scientist/ Project Engineerunder the project entitled Centre for Excellence of Large Area of Flexible Electronics at Samtel Centre for Display Technologies (SCDT), IIT Kanpur funded by DeitY (MCIT) New Delhi.
Minimum Qualification
For Project Scientist: PhD or + M.Sc in Science + 3 Yrs of Exp
For Project Engineer: M.Tech or B.Tech+ 3 Yrs of Exp.
Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, or allied fields with thesis involving fabrication and characterization of OPV or other solar cell device.
Essential Experience: Candidate should have hands-on working experience with solar cell device fabrication during his/her Ph.D. thesis.He/she should have knowledge of the basic ideas physics that are relevant to understanding organic solar cells.Knowledge and experience with optoelectronic characterisation of solar cells to obtain current-voltage and spectral response behaviour of device.He/she should have the basic knowledge and capability to interpret results of XRD, SEM, and AFM characterisation results, especially in the context of solar cells.
Desirable Experience:A post-doctoral experience, working in the field of solar cell fabrication and characterisation.Experienced in use and handling of glove boxes, vacuum equipment and device processing equipment will be strongly preferred.
Salary: Rs. 26400-2200-66000 /- per month based on qualification
Duration of appointment: Maximum three years or till the end of project, whichever is earlier
