   Walk in Interview

   Applications are invited for engagement of One Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the project entitled Development of protein isolate and concentrate from de-oiled cakes and their application in health foods funded by ICAR under CRP on Health Food at ICAR- Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, Punjab. The appointments will be purely temporary under contractual and co-terminus basis, initially up to September, 2017. The project is likely to be extended up to March, 2018. The appointments may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof. The candidates possessing required qualifications given below may appear before selection committee at ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET), PO: PAU, Ludhiana-141004 (Punjab).

   b)	Essential Qualification	Master degree in /Agricultural Process Engineering/Food Technology / Food Science & Technology / Microbiology/ /Dairy Technology/Dairy Chemistry/Biochemistry with 4 years / 5 years bachelor`s degree. Candidate having post graduate degree in basic sciences with 3 years bachelor`s degree and 2 years Master`s degree should have NET qualification.
   c)	Desirable Qualification	Exposure to conducting basic studies on protein isolation and membrane filtration.
   d)	Remuneration	Rs. 25000/- + HRA per month consolidated
   e)	Age limit	35 years for Men and 40 years for Women

   Terms and Conditions:

   1. The above positions are purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project.

   2. There is no provision for absorption/ re-employment in ICAR/ CIPHET/ after completion of time bound project.

   3. Place of work will be ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana.

   4. No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview

   5. The applicants must bring with them original documents and a brief of research work carried out during post graduation / Ph.D. along with one set of photocopy at the time of interview.

   6. No objection certificate from the employer in case he / she is employed elsewhere.

   7. Experience certificate in original (if any)

   8. No separate interview call will be issued to candidates.

   9. All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of Interview for necessary formalities.

   10. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post.

   11. The Director, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhianas decision will be final and binding in all respects.
