Positions vacant:

Applications on plain paper are invited for the following temporary research position in the research project, titled "S atial and Temporal patterns of active tectonic deformation in the Beas River through Morphometric analyses and Fluvial Terrace studies", sanctioned by Ministry of Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), New Delhi for three years.

Manpower:

Junior Research Fellow (JRF): one @ INR 25,000.00 pm plus HRA as per rules

Eligibility:

M.Sc. in any field of

Earth Science (i.e. Geology/Applied Geology etc) with

minimum 55% marks. Preference will be given to CSIR-NET/SLET/PU-PhD or equivalent entrance qualified candidates and experience in the relevant research area.

Age limit:

28years as on date of advertisement and relaxation of upto five years will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women candidates as per rules.

Terms and Conditions:

The position is co-terminus with the project or may be terminated even before (with one month notice if the work is not found satisfactory).
