(Filling up Vacancies of Chief Engineer on Deputation Basis)

MMRDA under Maharashtra State govt has undertaken an ambitious programme for implementation of number of Metro Rail projects in Mumbai metropolitan area to meet with ever growing transportation needs of public. Metro network planned in Mumbai consists of number of corridors and Line 2A, 2B, 7 & 4 are priority corridors under fast track execution by MMRDA & are likely to be made operational by the year 2020-21.

To meet with the immediate requirement of experienced Railway engineers in MMRDA for Metro project works, applications are invited from motivated and project oriented Railway Engineers working in Indian Railway/its CPSEs/Metro Rail Corporations for deputation to MMRDA . The details of the posts and eligibility criteria are given below:

Experience: Candidate should be working in PB-4 of CDA Grade of Rs.37400-67000 with GP Rs.8700 SG/IRSSE officer of Railway Service for a minimum period of 2 years or PB-3 pay scale Rs.15600-39100 with GP Rs.7600 JAG/IRSSE officer of Railway Service working with 5 years service in Group A in CDA scale or equivalent scale alongwith 18 years length of service with desirable experience given below. OR SAG/Non functional (NF) SAG, of IRSSE (Indian Railways Service of Signal Engineers) Cadre of Indian Railways. Desirable :i. Candidate should have experience of working in construction projects of Railways/ Metros/other PSUs/Private sector dealing with Signalling & Telecommunication. ii. Candidate should be conversant with international competitive bidding, computerized environment working and latest Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T) technologies etc. iii. Adequate experience in planning, designing, supplying, testing & commissioning of Signalling & Telecommunication systems for elevated Metro/Rail Projects in Urban & Suburban

				environment including consultancy works related to Urban Rail projects. iv. Candidates with experience of working of modern Urban Rail systems will be preferred.
2	Chief	37400	1	Qualification:
	Engineer	67000,		Degree in Civil Engineering from a Recognized & reputed
	( Track)	GP-8900		University/Institute. Experience: Candidate should be working in PB-4 of CDA Grade of Rs.37400-67000 with GP Rs.8700 for a minimum period of 2 years or JAG/SG officers of Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) working in PB-III pay-scale Rs.1560039100 with GP Rs. 7600/working with 5 years experience in JAG & above or equivalent scale with desirable experience given below Or SAG/Non functional (NF) SAG, of IRSE (Indian Railways Service of Engineers) Cadre of Indian Railways. Desirable :i. Candidate should have experience of Construction and Maintenance of Track in Railways/Metro. ii. Experience of working on projects of stations of Urban Railways/viaduct and bridges/ballast-less track works. iii. Candidate should be conversant with international competitive bidding, computerized environment working. iv. Adequate experience in planning, designing, supplying, testing & commissioning of Civil Engineering works for elevated Metro/Rail Projects in Urban & Suburban environment including consultancy works related to Urban Rail projects. v. Candidates with experience of working of modern Urban Rail systems will be preferred. vi. Candidate should have experience and knowledge of inter-face with Railway related disciplines such as Track laying works, Signalling, Electrification and Rolling Stock etc

Location of posts is Mumbai.

General Instructions:

2. A copy of the application shall also be submitted by Railway officers to their Administrative officer (Hq/ Board etc).
   
   
3. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Personal interview on the scheduled date/time with relevant documents/credentials. Interview will be held at MMRDA Office, E Block, Bandra (East), Mumbai-51. No separate communication will be sent by post and candidates are required to appear for the interview as per intimation sent on e-mail.
   
   
4. Candidates who qualify will be informed through email.
   
   
5. Details are to be filled up in the proforma given and attach two copies of recent passport photo and all the documents/testimonials.
   
   
6. Incomplete application or application received after cut off date will be summarily rejected.
