FOR THE POSTS OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS IN VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS AT AIIMS BHOPAL

1. 1. In compliance of the MoHFW letter No. 28016/54/2018/PMSSY-IV dated 15th June, 2018, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal will conduct walk-in-interview for the following faculty posts on contractual basis on the schedule dates as given below:

• The appointment will be for the period not exceeding one year or till the joining of regular appointee whichever is earlier.
  
  

3. Essential qualification and experience:

Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

		Essential for superspeciality disciplines:- 1. A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfil the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.) 2. D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical superspecialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Experience: One years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or qualification recognized degree in D.M./M.Ch or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. ESSENTIAL FOR NON-MEDICAL CANDIDATES 1. Post graduate qualification e.g. Master degree in the discipline/ allied subject 2. A doctorate degree of recognized university Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.

2. a) The above vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. The Director, AIIMS Bhopal reserves the right to vary the vacancies including reserved vacancies as per the Govt. of India rules/circulars and requirements. The reservation is as per the roster provided by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Reservation for Persons with Disability(PWD) will be as per Govt. of India guidelines i.e. 4% of total vacancies.
   
   
3. b) Experience and all other prescribed qualifications will be counted as on date of walk-in-interview.
   
   
4. c) The period of experience shall be counted after obtaining the prescribed qualification.
   
   
5. d) The employment will be purely on contractual basis and under no circumstances are linked to regular appointments and cannot be regularized at any stage.
   
   
6. e) The emoluments will be consolidated in nature as determined by the competent authority.
   
   
7. f) The appointment can be terminated by the competent authority any time before one year also, without assigning any reason thereof.
   
   
8. g) Director, AIIMS Bhopal reserve the rights to cancel the advertisement at any point of time without prior notice or fill up less number of posts as advertised depending upon the institutional requirements.

Interested Indian Citizens fulfilling all the eligibility criteria are required to visit on the scheduled date with an application and original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies of their proof of date of birth, eligibility qualification marksheets, degrees, experience certificate and other relevant testimonials.
   
   

1. 5. Remuneration (Consolidated): Rs. 1,00,000/- per month.

3. Fees for General/OBC candidates: Rs 1000/-. The Demand draft shall be drawn in favour of Director, AIIMS Bhopal, payable at Bhopal.

1. 7. From other Institute: Those who are working in Central/State Government/ /Semi Government/ Autonomous body have to submit No Objection Certificate from their respective organization at the time of interview, failing which the candidature may be rejected.
   
   

1. 8. Age Limit:
   
   
2. Age limit refers to completed age in years as on last date of submission of application i.e. the date of walk-in-interview.
   
   
3. Upper Age Limit: 50 years. However, this is relaxable for Government Servant, Scheduled Cast, Scheduled Tribe candidate up to a maximum period of five (5) years, for OBC candidates up to a maximum period of three (3) years. In case of Physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates, age relaxation upto a maximum period of ten (10) years for General Category, Thirteen (13) years for OBC category and fifteen (15) years for SC/ST category candidates.

2. OBC Candidates will attach certificate in Annexure V, from the prescribed authority for Central Government posts along with certificate that the candidate does not belong to Creamy Layer, issued within one year of application closing date.
   
   
3. For SC/ST - Certificate should be issued by Tehsildar or above rank officer in format of State/Central Government.
   
   
4. OPH - The disability certificate should be issued by a duly constituted Medical Board of the State or Central Govt. Hospitals / Institutions and countersigned by Medical Superintendent /Chief Medical Officer/Head of Hospital / Institution.
   
   

1. 10. Place of Interview: The interviews will be held at AIIMS, New Delhi. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
   
   

1. 11. Short Listing: Based on eligibility, the candidates may appear before the selection committee for interview. Candidates who report for walk-in-interview must bring printed copy of the application form, No Objection Certificate from the current employer and produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application at the time of interview.
   1. 1. The candidate who is already in government service shall submit No Objection Certificate from the present employer at the time of Interview.
      
      
   2. 2. Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
      
      
   3. 3. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
      
      
   4. 4. Private practice of any type is prohibited.
      
      
   5. 5. He / She is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the institute employees.
      
      
   6. 6. The appointee shall not be entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc. or any other benefits available to the Government Servants, appointed on regular basis.
      
      
   7. 7. The appointment can also be terminated at any time, on either side, by giving one months notice or by paying one months salary, without assigning any reason or failure to complete the period of three months to the satisfaction of competent authority. The appointee shall be on the whole time appointment of the AIIMS Bhopal and shall not accept any other assignment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself in a private practice of any kind during the period of contract. The appointee shall perform the duties assigned to him/her. The competent authority reserves the right to assign any duty as and when required. No extra/additional allowances will be admissible in case of such assignment.
      
      
   8. 8. Leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed as per the existing Government rules.
      
      
   9. 9. The appointee shall not be entitled to avail any allowances/facilities being extended to the regular/permanent faculty members of the AIIMS.
      
      
   10. 10. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
       
       
   11. 11. In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false of if the candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and any action taken as deemed fit by the appointing authority.
       
       
   12. 12. The decision of the competent authority regarding selection of candidates will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
       
       
   13. 13. Applications incomplete in any aspect will be summarily rejected.
       
       
   14. 14. The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.
