5. Scale of Pay (Pre revised) : Academic Level 10 with rationalized entry pay of `57,700/

(Revised-VII^th CPC). The Selection Committee may consider for higher entry pay in deserving cases.

2. How to Apply. The Application Form with the prescribed application fee, recent passport size photograph (affixed) and self attested proof of educational qualifications including Ph. D., if any indicating the year of obtaining the degree, list of publications (with reprints of the best papers), teaching/research experience, Caste Certificates, proof of date of birth etc, and other testimonials in support of experience should be sent in a sealed envelope super-scribed Application for the post of Assistant Professor IN THE DEPARTMENT / DISCIPLINE OF.against Advt. No.01-FP-2018 to the Joint Registrar (Admin), Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (Deemed to be University), Girinagar, Pune-411025. The last date for receipt of applications is 18/05/2018. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.

      2. The Institute reserves the right to consider and to fill positions in any of the above Specialization(s)/Department(s).
         
         

(iii) The Institute reserves the right not to fill up any or all the positions advertised in case of non-availability of suitable candidates.

Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate application form for each post. The application(s) should be accompanied by separate Demand Draft(s).

(v)

Reservation policy for SC, ST, and OBC etc. will be applicable as per UGC norms/Govt. of India rules, as amended from time to time. For availing Reservation/Age relaxation, the Category (for SC/ST) and OBC (Non Creamy Layer) certificates must be submitted in the prescribed format (in the format of Government of India) along with the application and should indicate whether the candidate would like to be considered under the same. Women and PWD candidates are encouraged to apply.

Reservation for Persons with Disabilities [PWD] (40% & above) shall be applicable as per Govt of India rules subject to producing the Disability Certificate on the prescribed format issued by the Competent Medical Board.

(vii) Age limit : Preferably not more than 40 Years.

(viii) The date for determining the upper age limit, qualification and / or experience shall be the closing date for receipt of application i.e. 18/05/2018.

(ix)

Mere fulfilment of the above-mentioned qualifications/ experience etc., does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Where number of applications received in response to an advertisement is large, it may not be convenient or possible for the Institute to interview all the candidates. The Institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than that of the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. Candidates should, therefore, furnish all the qualifications and experience possessed in the relevant field, over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed.

Candidates who are presently employed should submit their applications through proper channel only or else, they should produce NOC from employer at the time of interview.

(xi)

Relaxation in age, over and above the stipulated limit, educational qualification and/or experience may be considered in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates with the approval of the Competent Authority.

(xii) Reimbursement of travel expenses will be limited to 2^nd AC rail fare by the shortest route to the candidate invited for interview and meeting all qualifying criteria.

(xiii) Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fee once paid will NOT be refunded on any count nor can it be held in reserve for any other recruitment or selection cycle/process.

(xiv) NO INTERIM INQUIRY OR CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERTAINED. Candidates are advised to check the DIAT (DU) Website www.diat.ac.in for related information from time to time.
