Sub: Engagement of Senior Consultants/Consultants/Junior Consultant in National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on contract basis.

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has been constituted by Government of India under the Disaster Management Act, 2005 to coordinate its efforts towards Disaster Management. The DM Act, 2005 enjoins on NDMA the responsibility to lay down Policies and guidelines of Disaster Management and to enable timely and effective response to disaster. This involves Prevention, Mitigation, Capacity Building, Prepardness and Response Natural and Manmade Disasters.

2. NDMA invites applications from persons with qualification and expertise in the country to act as Senior Consultants/Consultants in NDMA on contract basis in the following disciplines (fields):

3. Remuneration

(i) Senior Consultant: Consolidated fee Rs. 1,00,000/-(One Lakh) per month

(ii) Consultant: Consolidated fee Rs. 70,000/-(Seventy Thousand) per month

(iii) Junior Consultant: Consolidated fee Rs. 50,000/-(Fifty Thousand) per month

4. The existing Senior Consultants/Consultants working in NDMA can also apply, if so desired and their application will be considered according to the provision contain in revised ToRs of the 12 discipline.

5. The detailed terms and conditions and eligibility criteria (educational qualification, experience etc) for engagement of Senior Consultants/Consultants are indicated in the term of reference (ToRs) of the above disciplines and may be seen on NDMA website at http://ndma.gov.in

6. NDMA invites applications from individuals alongwith their bio-data (Prescribed proforma-Annexture - III) and self attested photocopies of certificates of date of birth, educational qualification, experience and grade pay/pay band (for retired Government Servent) to be sent to Under Secretary (Admn.), National Disaster management Authority, A-1, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi-110029 within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the employment news.

Important note: Separate applications are required to be sent for each discipline (Field). Incomplete application will not be considered.
