: THE CANDIDATE SHOULD BE A SERVING OFFICER OF NOT BELOW THE SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE GRADE WITH A MINIMUM TOTAL SERVICE OF TWENTY TWO YEARS IN THE RAILWAYS. HIS CUMULATIVE EVALUATION OF THE ANNUAL CONFIDENTIAL REPORTS OF THE LAST FIVE YEARS PRIOR TO THE MEETING OF THE SELECTION COMMITTEE SHOULD NOT BE LESS THAN TWENTY TWO POINTS.
SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE IN DEALING WITH FINANCIAL ASPECTS OF BUILT ASSETS AND RELATED LAND MANAGEMENT/COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT MATTERS. ANY ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION IN THE RELEVANT FIELD WOULD BE AN ADDED ATTRIBUTE.
OFFICERS WORKING AS GENERAL MANAGERS IN THE RELEVANT DISCIPLINE WITH THE AUTHORITY FOR A PERIOD OF NOT LESS THAN FOUR YEARS SHALL ALSO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE ABOVE POST.
