Subject: - Filling up of the post of Financial Advisor (FA) in National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) (Rs.37,400-67,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.10,000/-), on deputation basis.

It is proposed to fill up the post of Financial Advisor (FA) likely to fall vacant shortly in National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), with Headquarters at New Delhi in the Pay Band of Rs.37,400-67,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.10,000/- (Joint Secretary level). The eligibility criterion is given in Annexure-I. The pay and other conditions of service of the selected officer will be regulated in accordance with Department of Personnel and Training., OM No. 8/8/2009-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 17-06-2010, as amended from time to time.

2. Application of only such officers will be considered as are routed through proper channel and are accompanied with (i) bio-data in the proforma at Annexure-II; (ii) clear photocopies of the up-to-date CR dossier of the officer containing CRs of at least 5 years, duly attested by a Group A officer (if original ACRs could not be sent); (iii) cadre clearance; (iv) clearance from vigilance and disciplinary angle; and (v) statement giving details of major or minor penalties, if any, imposed on the officer during the last ten years.

3. All the Ministries/Departments of the Central Government are requested to forward the applications of willing and eligible officer in the prescribed proforma to: Under Secretary (Admn.), NDMA, NDMA Bhawan, A-1, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi 110029, so as to reach this office within 45 days of publication of advertisement in the Employment News.

4. The applications of only those officers may be forwarded who, in the event of their selection, would join the duties of the post immediately on vacancy becoming available shortly and whom the concerned authorities would be in a position to relieve accordingly. The applications once forwarded would not be allowed to be withdrawn. Applications received after the prescribed date or not accompanied with the required certificates/ documents will not be entertained.

Annexure-I

Eligibility criterion for the post of Financial Advisor (FA) in National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

I. Name of Post: Financial Advisor, National Disaster Management Authority

II. Scale of Pay: Rs.37,400-67,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.10,000/- (Joint Secretary level)

III. Eligibility: Officers of the Central Government:-

(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) with three years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.37,400-67,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.10,000/- (pre revised Rs.14,300-18,300/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or

(iii) with eight years of combined service rendered after appointment on regular basis in the scales of pay of Rs.37,400-67,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.10,000/- (pre revised Rs.14,300-18,300/-) and Rs.15,600-39,100/- plus Grade Pay Rs.7600/- (pre revised Rs.12,000-16,500/- or equivalent wherein at least three years of regular service have been rendered after appointment in the selection grade in the scale of pay of Rs.37,400-67,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.10,000/- (pre revised Rs.14,300-18,300/-) in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) possessing experience in financial and accounting matters in a government department.

Note 1 :: Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

Note 2 :: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.
