1.	Investigators	Dr. Biplab Das (PI), Deptt. of Mech. Engg., NIT Silchar, Prof. K.M. Pandey (Co-PI), Deptt. of Mech. Engg., NIT Silchar
2.	Essential qualifications	Minimum M.Tech./M.E. in Thermal Engineering or design or in relevant specialization of Mechanical engineeringwith at least 60% marks.
3.	Age limit	Not more than 28 years.
4.	Salary	Rs. 25,000/- per month for first two years and Rs. 28,000/- per month for third year.
5.	Relaxation on qualification and age	SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWDcandidates will get relaxation as per DST, Govt. of India Rules.

8.	No objection certificate	Employed candidates have to submit no objection certificate from his/her employer at the time of interview.
9.	Institute right	The Institute reserves the right to cancel the recruitment without assigning any reason.
10.	Signing of Agreement	Selected candidates shall have to sign an agreement at the time of joining.
11.	General Terms and Conditions	The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years. The position is co-terminus with the project.
12.	TA/DA	No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
