IRCON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED is a premier Schedule A infrastructure government company under the Ministry of Railways engaged in the construction of turnkey infrastructure projects in Railways, Highways, Buildings, Power sector, etc. The Company has recorded a turnover of more than 3200 crores in the year 2016-17. The Company has successfully completed large value Railway and Highway Projects over the years in India and abroad including Malaysia, Bangladesh, Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Turkey, Nepal, etc., and recently in Sri Lanka.

The company invites applications for the posts of Works Engineer (Civil) on Contract basis for one year (further extendable based on requirement of the project) for posting at its Algeria Project:

*Age relaxations as per Govt. of India guidelines subject to fulfillment of the requisite qualification, pay & experience criteria etc.

Medical Standards: Candidates should be in sound health. No relaxation in health standards will be allowed.

Only Indian Nationals with a valid passport need apply. Applicants without a valid Indian passport may also apply, however the mobilization to Algeria will be immediately after selection.

A. The above posts are specifically for Algeria Project and not for the regular establishment of IRCON. The appointment is purely on contract initially for one year, extendable as per company's requirement and performance of the candidates. The contract appointment is also co-terminus with the project and will not confer any right to claim absorption in regular establishment of the Company.

B-1 Reimbursement for indoor treatment for self at the place of posting only would be permissible.

B-2 Mess facility (chargeable) shall also be provided.

B-3 Bachelor accommodation will be provided at project/site

B-4 Minimum PF as prescribed under the EPF & MP Act 1952 will be deducted from the salary and a matching contribution will be made by the company. The accumulations will be paid at the time of cessation of contract. Insurance cover shall also be provided as for other co-workers of equal status.

B-5 15 days earned leave would be admissible on completion of every 6 months service which can be accumulated and encashed at the time of cessation of contract. No other type of leave would be admissible.

B-6 TA/DA would also be admissible if deputed on outstation duty.

B-7 No other perks or benefits would be admissible except the above.

B-8 The selection will be by Walk-in-Interview. Details regarding schedule for walk-in-interview is as mention in Para C- II below.

a) Matriculation Certificate (for age proof);

c) Certificates in proof of experience clearly indicating the length and line of experience as per the eligibility conditions.

d) Copy of valid Passport / or copy of receipt if applied for a passport.

2. Applicants may send their application in advance to the address as is given below in the table or Applicants who consider themselves eligible should straightway report for the walk-in- interview along with duly filled in application as per the following schedule.

3. No interview call letters will be issued as this is a walk-in-interview.

4. Only such applicants will be interviewed who are eligible as per the eligibility criteria. Applicants are, therefore, advised to check their eligibility thoroughly while applying so as to avoid disappointment at a later stage. The applicants must bring the original certificates in proof of age, community, educational qualifications, passport and experience while coming for the walk in interview failing which the interview of the candidate will not be held.

5. Applications not accompanied by experience certificate, incomplete or vague applications will be rejected summarily. Applications not in the prescribed format will also not be entertained.

6. Applicants working in Govt./PSUs may note that this is a short duration contract post and even for these posts they have to produce NOC at the time of walk in interview and resign from their parent organization on their selection.
