Database Developer (Short Term) - 01 Nos
National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) has been set up under the National Health Mission (NHM) as an autonomous registered society, to channelize technical assistance and capacity building support to the states for strengthening the public health system.
NHSRC on behalf of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoH&FW) intends recruiting Database Developer (Short Term) purely on contractual basis.
Job Description:
A qualified Database developer with experience in designing stable and reliable databases according to application requirement. He/she will be responsible for developing, testing, improving and maintaining new and existing databases to help users retrieve data effectively. He/she will work closely with web developers to ensure system consistency. He/she will also collaborate with client to provide ad-hoc reports based on client requirements.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design stable, reliable and effective databases
- Optimize and maintain legacy systems
- Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
- Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
- Liaise with developers to improve application performance through query optimization and establish best practices
- Code back-end stored procedures, functions, triggers on the application database
- Code database-level scheduled jobs
- Optimize the performance of reports
- Develop Excel-based standard report generation
- Provide data management support to users
- Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
Eligibility and Skill Sets:
- Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech/ MCA from a reputed institute (Required). Microsoft certification in database Adminstration/Development (Desirable)
- Experience: 3-5 Years Experience
- Proven work experience as a Database developer in SQL Server 2008 R2 and above
- Knowledge of SQL Server 2016.
- In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)
- Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
- Hands on experience with SQL
- Familiarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML and Ms SQL
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- An ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude
Age Limit: Below 45 years as on last date of receiving of applications.
Remuneration: Within band of Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 90,000/- p.m. - as appropriate
Contract Tenure: Three months and extendable
*Note: As this is a short term assignment; Preference will be given to candidates residing within Delhi/NCR region and the selected candidate will be required to join within 7 days.
