PUBLIC NOTICE

Sub: Drawing a Panel of Guest Educational and Vocational Guidance Counsellors (EVGCs) in Schools of Directorate of Education for the Academic Year 2017-18.

Applications from eligible candidates are invited online for setting up a Panel of Guest Educational and Vocational Guidance Counselors to be further posted, as and when required,in the schools of Delhi Government for the Academic Year 2017-18.

Number of Posts : Total : 272 (UR : 138, SC:41, ST : 20, OBC: 73, including 08

for OH & VH)

Age Limit : (As on the last date for receipt of on-line application)

Not Exceed ing 30 Years (Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PH as per Rules)

Essential Qualification

1. Master degree in Psychology from a recognized University or institution with

2. Diploma in Guidance and Counseling from a recognized university of institution .

   Desirable

   One Year Experience in Guidance and counseling in a Central or State or UT Government Institution/Public Sector Undertaking.

   Engagement of Guest EVGCs is subject to following Terms & Conditions : -

   1. Guest EVGCs shall be engaged purely as a stop gap arrangement , till the posts are filled up on regular basis. Guest Teachers shall not be entitled to regular appointment.

   2. The number of vacancies is tentat ive and is subject to change. Department reserves the right to alter the number of vacancies at any time. Directorate of Education will maintain a panelof candidates to meet any requirement in the Academic Year 2017- 18.

   3. Reservations and age relaxations to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/and PH will be

      given as per Govt. orders. Candidates claimin reservation u der B Cat o

      shall produce OBC Certificate issued by authority of Govt of NCT Delhi. For SC/ST candidates certificate issued by any state/UT will be considered. The candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped category (Ortho + VH only) must posses

      "Disability Certificate" issued from a Government Hospital.

   4. Willing candidates may register themselves online on our website www.edudel.nic in from 13.05.2017 (11:00 AM) to 03.06.2017 (UPTO 6:00 PM). Submission of applications other than online shall not be entertained and

      any deviation in this regard shall lead to summary rejection. A pplicants a re strictly instructed not to send any hard copy of the application to this department.

   5. The scheme of selection will be on the basis of academic merit. The final scheme of selection will be notified on 06.06.2017 (6:00 PM ) on the web- portal of Directorate of Education.

   6. Allocation of school to the selected candidate will be merit based and

preferably through a computerized programme without any human intervention. Request for change of school shall not be entertained at all at any time during the engagement. If the person does not join within given time,the offer of appointment will be cancelled.

7. The Guest EVGCs will be dis-engaged from the school as soon as a regular EVGC joins the school and the Guest EVGCs working in that particular school will be disengaged irrespective of his/ her standing in the order of merit list initially drawn for the purpose of engagement.

1. Guest EVGCs Teachers already engaged in the Delhi Government School need not apply.

2. The engagement of Guest EVGs for the current academic session i.e. 2017-18 will be up to 10/05/ 2018 or the commencement of the summer vacation whichever is earlier.

OTHER IMPORTANT CONDITIONS

1. Percentage of marks must be entered up to two places of decimal.

1. The Guest EVGCs shall be paid @ Rs.1445/- per working day as approved by Hon'ble LG, GNCTD vide U.O. no. 27930 dated 23.02.2017 and 03.03.2017.

2. Toe candidate shall fill-up his / her name, Date of Birth,roll number,year of passing etc. as they appear in the pass certificate of class Xll Examination. Any deviation in this regard will lead to disqualification. Candidates in their own interest are advised to fill up all the items in the online application form carefully and before submitting the form online he/she shall check the particulars on the "Preview" creen. Requests for correction what so ever shall not be entertained at later stages.

3. Toe candidate shall use, Google Chrome browser only while filling up application online.
