WALK-IN INTERVIEW

Eligible candidates are invited to attend WALK-IN INTERVIEW on the following date for the post sanctioned under ICMR Multicentric National Task force project entitled Prevalence and Etiology of hearing impairment under Department of ENT on the 2nd of July 2018. The essential qualifications, experience, consolidated salary and service tenure are as under:

Brief Description about the Project	:	Epidemiologic study of prevalence of hearing impairment in Eastern Indian region.
Resource Requirement	:	1 (One)
Education	:	MASLP / MSc (Audiology)/BSc (Audiology)
Experience	:	Applicants with experience in research and community work and having computer literacy shall be preferred.
Key Skills	:	Ability to perform Pure tone audiometry, Free field audiometry, Tympanometry, Otoacoustic emission, Auditory Brain Stem Response.
Job Title	:	Audiologist
Location	:	AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Proposed Salary	:	Rs.32,387/- (Rupees Thirty two thousand three hundred eighty seven only)
Core Responsibilities	:	Hearing screening in the field (House to House) followed by detailed evaluation of hearing capacity.
Specific Activities	:	Train field workers to perform a questionnaire based hearing screening Perform hearing screening house to house during the survey Perform detailed Audiological examination in an acoustically treated minibus in the field Perform speech rehabilitation Set up and co-ordinate a parental training program for children with hearing impairment Hearing aid dispensing and programming Customise ear moulds Perform real ear measurements

Brief Description about the Project	:	Epidemiologic study of prevalence of hearing impairment in Eastern Indian region.
Resource Requirement	:	3 (Three)
Education	:	Minimum qualification is 10+2 (passed with >55% marks). Social Work Graduates with community experience will be preferred.
Essential Experience	:	Applicants should have 2 years experience in conducting field based surveys and community research projects.
Key Skills	:	Ability to conduct a field survey and record data in the preform as in English, Hindi and Odia.
Job Title	:	Field Worker
Location	:	AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Proposed Salary	:	Rs.18,560/- (Rupees Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred Sixty) only
Core Responsibilities	:	Perform community based survey and record the data.
Specific Activities	:	Door to door visit and interviewing of study respondents. Scheduling follow up visits. Follow up of respondents with hearing problems and referral to project team for further assessments.

How to apply?

Interested candidates may appear for walk-in interview. Candidates should bring duly filled application form (As per the prescribed Performa) and all original certificates of educational qualifications, experience certificate along with a photo and set of photocopies at the time of interview.

The venue and timing of interview shall be intimidated in due course of time.

1. These are tenure vacancies under funded project and are not employment on AIIMS Bhubaneswar pay roll. Employment will automatically terminate upon completion of the project and there is no liability for permanent employment on AIIMS, Bhubaneswar or Principal Investigator. Also the candidates have no right to claim permanent employment based on this job.

2. Selected candidates have to carry out extensive touring and collect data in field.

3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
