Walk-in interview

NCESS will be conducting a walk-in interview for the selection of Project Assistant-I & II on temporary basis, initially for a period of one year.

Date & Time: 04.04.2018 (Wednesday) 10.00 A.M.

(Verification process will begin half an hour before the interview)

Project Assistant-II (1 vacancy)

Essential Qualification

First class Postgraduate Degree in Geology/Geo informatics/Remote Sensing/Environmental Sciences or equivalent
Research experience in relevant fields of Geo informatics.

Desirable

Experience in processing of satellite images. Working experience with GIS packages such as Arc GIS.
Experience in field work related to Coastal Zone Management/CRZ.

Remuneration

Rs. 24,000/- plus HRA as applicable

Essential Qualification

B.Sc. in Science subjects.
Experience in working on GIS tools and processing satellite data.

Project Assistant-I (1 vacancy)

Essential Qualification

First class B.Sc in Chemistry/Zoology.
One-year experience in estuarine/riverine field studies and chemical analysis.

Remuneration

Rs. 15,000/- plus HRA as applicable

Age limit: 35 years as on 01.01.2018 (Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per GoI Rules).

Interested candidates may appear for the walk-in interview with ID proof, self-attested copies of certificates and mark lists showing educational qualifications, experience, age etc. and original certificates and mark lists for verification.

The decision of the Director, NCESS in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications shall be final and no enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any individual.
