For the following Contractual position mentioned below under the SAC-ISRO funded project on Forewarning of major crop pests on spatial scale for their integrated management at ICAR-NCIPM, LBS, Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Total Post : One (purely contractual)

Masters degree in Geo-informatics/Environment Science/Agricultural Meteorology/Soil Science/Earth Science/Remote Sensing & GIS/Computer Application/Agricultural Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/ Computer Science with 4/5 years bachelors degree. Those with 3 years bachelors degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/GATE qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)

Experience in RS & GIS, data analysis including knowledge of computer and statistical analysis tools

Emoluments: For SRF: Rs. 25,000/ month + 30% HRA

(As per ICAR Order No. Agri. Edn.6/27/2014/HRD/Dated 13-07-2015 and dated 09-10-2015).

Terms and Conditions:

1. Age limit for Senior Research Fellow is 35 for Men and 40 years for Women.

2. The age is relaxable for SC/ST and OBC candidates for SRF, applicable as per ICAR/Govt. of India norms.

3. The above position will be filled up on contractual basis and is up to 31.03.2018 or co terminus with the project. The renewal of yearly contract is subjected to satisfactory performance/sanction obtain from the funding agency. The selected candidate(s) have no claim for regular appointment(s) after expiry of the Project at NCIPM/ICAR.

4. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.

5. Candidates appearing for interview should compulsorily bring filled in application as per format annexed. Original Certificates of age proof, educational qualifications (from 10th class onwards), and documents in support of essential, and desirable qualifications / experience along with a set of self-attested photocopies along with the recent passport sized photograph should be brought.

6. Interview of the eligible candidates would be held at the premises of NCIPM on 10.08.2018 at 11.00AM.

7. Candidate fulfilling the essential qualifications only need to attend the Walk in Interview.

8. Concealing of facts and canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification.
