Advt No.22/2018 : Walk-In-Interview for appointment of a Project Scientific Officer - B (Sanger Sequencing Facility) on Contract Basis on Thursday 14th June, 2018

National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) - Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a premier research Centre is looking for appointment of a Project Scientific Officer 'B' (Sanger Sequencing Faqcillity) on a consolidated pay based on their qualification and experience. The appointment will be initially for a period of One year which may be extended upto maximum of Three years depending on the performance of the candidates.

Essential Qualification :

1) Masters Degree in Life Sciences with 60% of marks from a recognised University.

Desirable Experience:

1) One (1) Two (2) years experience in Sequencing sample preparation, running the sequencing and genotyping samples on Sanger sequencing platform, data collection and data analysis. Experience in NGS is desirable but not compulsory. Candidates with good communications skills are preferred.

The selected candidates will be required to join immediately. Interested candidates may attend Walk-in-Interview at NCBS-TIFR, GKVK, Bellary Road, Bangalore from 10.00 am to 11.30 am on Thursday 14th June, 2018, along with typed applications on plain paper in the following format with true copies of relevant certificates/ testimonials in support of their qualifications, experience etc.
