Advt No.22/2018 : Walk-In-Interview for appointment of a Project Scientific Officer - D (Drosophila Facility) on Contract Basis on Thursday 14th June, 2018

National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) - Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a premier research Centre is looking for appointment of a Project Scientific Officer 'D' Drosophila Facility on a consolidated pay based on their qualification and experience. The appointment will be initially for a period of One year which may be extended upto maximum of Three years depending on the performance of the candidates.

Essential Qualification & Experience:

1) PhD in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences.

2) Two (2) years experience in modern Drosophila molecular genetics.

Desirable Experience:

1) Hands on experience with proven track record in a range of molecular genetics techniques in Drosophila including trangenesis, homologus, recombination and genome engineering using CRISPR/Cas9 in Drosophilia. Experience in developing/ implementing new technologies in the Drosophila system and managing large collections of drosophila.

The selected candidates will be required to join immediately. Interested candidates may attend Walk-in-Interview at NCBS-TIFR, GKVK, Bellary Road, Bangalore from 10.00 a.m. to 11.30 am on Thursday 14th June, 2018, along with typed applications on plain paper in the following format with true copies of relevant certificates/ testimonials in support of their qualifications, experience etc.
