Bharat Electronics Limited a Navaratna Company and Indias premier Professional Electronics company requires Ex-Servicemen who have retired on or before 31.01.2018 from Indian Defence forces (Army/ Air force/ Navy) in the rank of JCO on fixed tenure basis in E-I grade (Executive) for a period of 3 years for its Telecom & Broadcasting Systems SBU to be posted at Bangalore, Guwahati, Delhi and other North Indian states.

POST: Sr. Assistant Engineer (Fixed tenure basis for 3 years) in E-I Grade.

QUALIFICATION : 3 years Diploma in Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics, Electronics & Communication or Tele Communication discipline .

NO. OF POSTS: - 07 posts (General -1, OBC-3, SC-2, ST-1).

JOB DESCRIPTION : -

o Essential knowledge in reading Engineering drawing like Block diagram, schematic Diagram, Wire list, Wiring diagram etc.

o Hands on experience on assembly of PCB, RF/ Ethernet / OFC cables, data & power wiring of Communication modules, Racks & systems.

o Essential Knowledge in software loading, Configuration of Sub-systems, DG sets, UPS, VSat Antenna, Ku Band , Ext C band Antenna system, switches, routers VOIP, trials, onsite AMC, warranty support, Store Keeping, and Troubleshooting / repair of systems supplied by BEL and Networking at above mentioned locations.

o Visits to various customer locations across India for Installation & commissioning and troubleshooting of satellite Communication Equipments, LOS Equipment, UPS, power wiring, switches, Routers, VOIP and networking .

EXPERIENCE: 15 years & above post qualification (Professional) experience as on 31.01.2018.

AREA OF EXPERIENCE: The applicants should have worked in one or more of the following areas: Communication Systems, Computers and Networks, Switching Equipments etc.

AGE: - Upper age limit: 50 years as on 31.01.2018 (Relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per Govt. guidelines & also the upper age limit may be relaxed in case of deserving candidates / experienced candidates at the discretion of management).

PAY SCALE: - Rs 30,000 3% 1,20,000/- . All emoluments put together, the CTC will be approximately Rs. 7,10,000/- per annum. TA/DA for out station duty will be given as per Company rules.

SELECTION: - The selection will be through a written test & interview.

GENERAL CONDITIONS : - The term would initially be for a period of 3 years and is extendable based on the performance of the candidates & the requirement of the company.

3. Certificate from the previous employer regarding relevant post qualification experience.

4. Caste/Tribe Certificate (if applicable) and other relevant certificates.

5. Discharge Certificate/Summary from Defence forces, if applicable.

In addition to basic pay, other allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, 35% of the annual basic pay as perquisites, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Group Life Insurance, Medical reimbursement, Provident Fund, Gratuity and pension as per Companys rules will be part of the remuneration package.

Reservation / relaxation for SC/ST/OBC Candidates will be as per Government directives.

Candidates can also make the payment by approaching SBI branch. Candidates need to select SBI branch in the payment option and download and print the challan generated through SBI collect and deposit the application fee of Rs. 500/- plus applicable bank charges in any SBI branch. The candidates should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of the bank official.

General/OBC candidates have to enter the SBI collect reference no. generated after payment in the application form. Payment receipt should be attached to the hard copy of the application form along with other enclosures.

Candidate may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting application fees and sending the application. Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Candidates employed in Government / Quasi Government and

Public Sector undertaking will be required to have their application forwarded through proper channel or produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview. Candidates who are shortlisted for interview but are unable to produce no objection certificate will not be interviewed under any circumstances.

The number of posts indicated above, may vary based on the actual requirement at the time of selection.

Outstation candidates, who are shortlisted for the interview, will be reimbursed sleeper class to and fro train fare by the shortest route from their correspondence address.

Merely fulfilling the minimum requirement of qualification and experience will not vest any right on the candidates to be called for the interview/written test. BEL reserves the right to shortlist the candidates based on the relevance of experience after acquiring the prescribed qualification.

Age / Experience indicated above may be relaxed for deserving candidates at the discretion of the Management. Request for change of category once declared in the application will not be entertained.
