Subject: Engagement of Law Clerks-cum-Research Assistant on contract basis in the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal.

'rhe National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) proposes to engage Law Clerks-cum-Research Assistant purely on contract basis.

4pp1ications are, therefore, invited from persons (both fresh and experienced) holding Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent and willing to serve the NCLAT on purely contractual basis. The maximum age of the applicant as on ^1st January, 2018 shall be not more than 30 years.

The terms and conditions for engagement as Law Clerk-cum-Research Assistant on contract basis shall be as under: -

(i)

They will be paid a fixed consolidated remuneration of t 30,000/- per month. No other allowances whatsoever or any other benefit like CGHS, Govt. accommodation etc. shall be given.

(ii)

The engagement will be initially for a period of six months subject to satisfactory performance and extendable further on the basis of performance of the incumbent.

(iii) The engagement will be on full time basis and will be purely contractual in nature. It would not confer any right of employment in the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal.

(iv)

The persons so appointed by the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal will not be entitled to practice or take up any other assignment during the period of their contract.

(v)

The persons so appointed will not be allowed to appear before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal for a period of six months after completion of their engagement.

(vi)They shall not be entitled to any leave, except paid leave subject to a maximum of fraction of eight days per year or proportionate number of days based on contract.

(vii)

During their engagement they will have to follow normal duty hours and may be required to attend the residential office of the Hon'ble Chairperson or the Hon'ble Members, as and when required.

(viii)

They shall not leave the headquarters without prior permission from the Competent Authority.

(ix)If the performance is not found satisfactory, the engagement can be terminated without assigning any reason.

Interested candidates willing to serve as Law Clerk-cum-Research Assistant with the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal on the above terms and conditions may submit their applications in favour of "Registrar, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, B-4 Wing, ^3rd Floor, Pt. Deendayal Antyodaya Bhawan, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-i 10003" on or before 31"March, 2018.

The application shall be accompanied by detailed resume and recent passport size photograph pasted on it along with self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents.
