ONGC, MBA Basin, Kolkata requires following Medical Officer(s) on contract basis for the period from 01/07/2018 to 30/06/2020.

Candidates are requested to carry/bring their following documents at the time of walk-in-interview:

1. Candidates are required to fill-up their Bio-data and also affix their recent passport sized colour photo in the space provided. A specimen copy of bio-data is attached herewith.

2. Copy of Matric/High School/Secondary Board Certificate containing his/her Date of Birth (DoB). No other proof shall be entertained for determining his/her DoB.

3. Copies of Marks Sheets (All completed /All Semesters), Certificate of educational, professional qualifications and experience certificates (If any) in support of his/her candidature, as specified, are required to be furnished along with said bio-data

4. Copies of all additional in line professional qualification Certificate, if any.

5. Copy of Internship Completion Certificate.

6. Copy of valid SC/ST/OBC/PwD (if any) Certificate

7. Copy of Valid Registration Certificate.

8. All Original documents in support of his/her candidature need to be brought / produced at the time of Interview, which will be returned after spot verification.

Other Terms & Conditions:

a. Job is purely on Contract Basis and does not carry any liability on ONGC for regular appointment at any stage.

b. Selected candidates will have to sign a contract agreement as per terms & conditions of ONGC for the entire tenure.

c. Notice period of one month would be required from either side for termination of contractual engagement.

d. Contract tenure will commence from the date of joining.

e. Doctor so engaged on contract basis will not have any right to claim regular appointment in ONGC by virtue of his working on contract basis.

f. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

g. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to attend the interview.

h. There is no upper age limit but the candidate must ensure that he/she is medically & physically fit for performing duty in ONGC.

i. Incomplete document OR appearing without relevant document is liable to be rejected his/her candidature straightway.

j. Field Medical Officers are requiring serving at Field/Drillsite areas etc. as per movement of Rig/requirement of ONGC from time to time. Present Field/Drillsite is situated at Ashokenagar,Dist. 24 Pgs (North) 743222 and thereafter probable location is like Amdanga, Dist.24 Pgs (North) and Raspur, Dist. Hooghly, West Bengal, while, Medical Officer (Occupational Health) and General Duty Medical Officer (Part time) are requiring serving at different offices at Kolkata as decided by ONGC from time to time.

k. If necessary, walk-in-interview can be continued in the next day/next working day at the discretion of ONGC. Accordingly, outstation candidates are requested to prepare themselves at their own cost.

Medical Facility:

Medical Officer on contract engaged for full time shall be provided Medical Facility of in-house OPD facility, where ONGC hospitals/dispensaries exist. Location/Areas where no ONGC hospital/dispensaries available, Rs.1000/- per month for OPD expenses shall be given along with monthly remuneration. They shall also be extended Family Floater cover for Rs.5.0 lakhs for indoor treatment in respect of self, spouse and two immediate dependents i.e. children and / or parents.
