selection to the under mentioned post in Kerala Government Service.

Note: The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked List published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked for the above community but remains unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published on 09.04.2013 for the post (Category No.222/11). This is the Third NCA Notification published due to the non availability of sufficient candidates belonging to the above community as per the 1^st, 2^nd NCA notification as shown below.

6. Age Limit :-21-49 : (Only candidates born between 02/01/1968 and 01/01/1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post.

Note:-Members belonging to Scheduled Caste who had converted to Christianity after attaining adulthood and their children are eligible for age relaxation up to 50 years. Such candidate should be born between 02.01.1967 and 01.01.1996 (both dates included).

7. Qualifications: Assistant Professor

(i)

M.Ch. (Urology)/M.Ch./D.N.B (Genito Urinary Surgery)/ M.Ch. (Genito Urinary Surgery)

(ii)

Three years Teaching Experience or such other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India.

(iii) Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council).

In their absence

M.S. (General Surgery) with TCMC Registration

In the absence of candidates with the above qualifications, candidates with the followingqualification as per mother notification will be considered.

(i) M.Ch. (Urology)/M.Ch./D.N.B (Genito Urinary Surgery)/ M.Ch. (Genito Urinary Surgery)

(ii) Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council).

M.S. (General Surgery) with TCMC Registration

In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, candidates with the following qualifications will be considered for appointment as LECTURER (As per UGC norms.)

1. MBBS Degree from a recognised University
   
   
2. Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore Cochin Medical Council).
   
   

Note:

(1)

DNB qualification must be acquired from a Medical College, which is recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.

(ii)

The Post Graduate study period for Medical subjects will be considered as

teaching experience for appointment as Assistant Professor provided the

candidates have undergone Residency Programme during the Post Graduate

Course period and in the case of candidates who have passed the Post Graduate

course without undergoing residency programme a certificate shall be produced

by the candidate from the Principal of the College to the effect that the candidate

has got teaching/clinical work experience during the Post Graduate Course

period.

(iii) The above qualifications mentioned for the post of Assistant Professor/Lecturer must be acquired on or before the last date of receipt of application

(iv)

Provisional Registration with any Medical Council will not be accepted.

(v)

Candidates shall ensure that particulars of all their credentials including

Permanent Registration in the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council are added to their profile before submitting applications.

(vi)

Those who are appointed in the post should serve for four (4) years during the first ten (10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under Defence Services connected with Defence, if required. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the above compulsory Military service.

(vii) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii applicable.

8. Mode of submitting Application: -

(a)

Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The Photograph uploaded should be one taken after 31.12.2010. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration Card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, Experience, Community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for.

(b)

If a Written/OMR Test/Online is conducted as part of this selection, Admission Ticket for eligible candidates will be made available in their Profile for One Time Registration and the date of downloading will be included in the Examination

Calendar. Candidates can download Admission Ticket for 15 days from this date. Candidates who have downloaded the Admission Ticket will alone be permitted to attend the examination.

(c) Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile.
