Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Research Associate in the industry-sponsored Research Project in the area of V2V communication and image processing for night-time driving.

Duration : A contractual position for 3 years with probation of 1 year

Essential Qualifications : a) B.Tech/BE degree in Computer Science or Electronics

and Communication Engineering or in equivalent streams.

b) M.Tech./M.E/MS degree in Computer Science or

Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent

streams OR

Desirable Qualification : Preference will be given to candidates having

understanding of vehicular communication, basics of wireless communication and with interest/experience/ specialization in Image processing with some knowledge on the use of machine learning tools. Notably, the candidate should have very good hands-on experience in Matlab, Python (or OpenCV) and Image Processing.

Fellowship : The amount would be Rs. 25,000 to 30,000 per month,

take home, depending on the interview performance.

Responsibilities : 1) The Research Associate will be working full-time on

the research project and will provide weekly updates on the progress of the work. The candidate will develop model as required, investigate the different scenarios, demonstrate results and provide output as required.

2) The Research Associate will spend quite a significant

time interacting with industry partner; and also be

visiting the industry partner once in a year.

1. 1. Mere fulfillment of the minimum qualification will not vest any right on a candidate for being called for a written test/skill test/interview, etc.
