Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Kerala [IIITM-K] is a postgraduate academic and research autonomous institute established by the Government of Kerala. The institute is actively involved in postgraduate education, research, R&D in the areas of Machine Intelligence, Data mining, Natural Language Processing, Computational Science, Embedded Systems, Image Processing, Geo Informatics and Agri Informatics and e-Governance. The appointment will be initially for a period of one year and will be extended based on the performance and project funding.

Senior Project Associate - 1 post

Experience: 5 years Salary: Rs. 31,000 per month Project Name: VFPCK Project- 1 Essential Qualification: Regular Degree in BE/BTech/ MSc CS-IT/ MCA/ with minimum 5 years of solid experience in developing web applications in Java/J2EE /MySQL/XML environment. Experience: Should have minimum five years of solid experience on developing web applications using Java/ J2EE/ Struts

Strong knowledge on OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ Struts)

Strong Knowledge of MySQL. PostgreSQL or similar database management system

Common Understanding of other compiled languages Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)

Experience of development using web technologies Good understanding of OO programming and design patterns

Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery and Ajax

Strong Knowledge with Eclipse

Strong Knowledge in using version control (e.g. SVN)

For all the posts, the candidate should have passed regular Degree course from recognized university/institution. The experience prescribed should be the post qualification
